Course Summary
This half day course covers the role of the designated fire marshall. It also gives participants the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly. For businesses, this is a course of particular importance because of the legal requirement contained within the 1971 Fire Precautions Act, 1974 Health & Safety at Work Act and the recent Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, which came into effect on 1 December 1997.

The course will present an insight into fire regulations and general fire precautions. It aims to provide you with the knowledge to be become a fire marshall.
