IOSH Managing Safely (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
Health & Safety courses are currently only available in house. At present the minimum attendance is 6 people, the maximum is 12.
Who Should Attend?
Managing safely is a course designed for Managers and Supervisors to give the information and skills required manage Health and Safety in their area. The course is 24 hours normally run over 4 days with a half examination on day 4.
Course Content
The course has eight modules:
Introducing managing safely
Assessing risks
Controlling Risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Identifying hazards
Investigating accidents and incidents
Measuring performance
Protecting our environment
Assessment
Candidates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.
